Borderlands 3 has revealed its third paid DLC expansion and second free Takedown mission.. Specifically, if you’ve worked hard to collect a high-tier loadout filled with top-level weapons, you’re going to have to begin the process all over again to reach Level 60 gear. This will be the third cap increase for the game, with the original max level starting off at 50. Borderlands 3's Bounty of Blood DLC brings some broken new loot into the game, but suffers from its reliance on all-new characters. Now chests, mail, mission rewards, and vending machines all will carry loot befitting your current Speaking of Mayhem tiered loot, grenade mods will now have better versions dropping on higher Mayhem levels. Unlike the previous DLCs, Bounty of Blood will not involve any characters from the original game and will tell a completely new story. Over the course of new events and DLCs, the level cap has slowly been increased as new items and weapons were introduced to the game.While this may come as exciting news to some, others may be disappointed to hear that the level cap is being increased once again. Yesterday, it was confirmed that Borderlands 3 is raising the level cap once again from 57 to 60, adding three skill points for players to play around with.
