They had a cooling system, which is not common in Switzerland. Not far away from the old town.The location of the hotel was great, we were able to hop on the tram (for free because of the travel card the hotel gave us) right outside and go anywhere we wanted. Hotel is right next to tram stop, or short walk into old town. Located in the center of Bern, Hotel Bären am Bundesplatz is only a 2-minute walk from the Federal Palace and a 5-minute walk from the main train station.
It was very clean and well equipped.
Highly recommended! Bern for a short stay is wonderful but do not plan to stay there for more than two days, you will get bored.
