I want Starfield to have me sitting alone in a Starship, eons from anything I understand, totally in awe at the spectacle and endless wonder of space, with a drop of ominous fear because of the vastness and unlimited mystery of the cosmos. One Reddit user says that BioWare had engine issues with Mass Effect Andromeda and "look how that turned out." It will still be an evolution, but likely with major changes. Some are also concerned that development issues could make Starfield a bad game. That being said… for all the info that’s floating around in these threads, the citation has been pretty lax. I think that reason was the wait for next-gen & SSDs in consoles. Next chance would be either Gamescom Opening show case or The Game Awards in December.
