If you wish to play with others, you must be within a similar Soul Memory range. Longsword is popular.
- currently on my sl25 tier 4 char with agape and the GreatSword (ultra) and a +5bandit axe that i created shortly after agape was added. Players create builds around specific weapons that have good movesets, deal significant damage, or are easily obtained.

Ruler's Sword:- Quite a staple in high-tier fight clubs, if you have over 1mil souls it does quite a lot of damage, even infused AFAIK the damage bonus you get is the same, so infusing with something like Dark or Magic still sports the AR increase, meaning this is a good Buff weapon. Greatswords :- Going to start off saying I barely use GS's and those I have I didn't like. So I was wondering what weapons were considered good (pvp preferably)There's a few that are popular and a couple that are borderline broken (see above), but really just find something with a moveset you like and make it work for you.Also I've seen some people put the longsword and bandit axe at the tops of their lists just for being good weapons wiith good movesets and no real downsides.tbh I've been using ice rapier and warped sword but the damage seems low.
