At the very end, Constantine having pep talk with The Flash! Justice.League.Dark.Apokolips.War.2020. Task Force X targets a powerful mystical object that they will risk their lives to steal. There is a scene wherein Constantine references Killer Shark (a monstrous male) as being his ex. The movie creates an epic and very satisfying 'finale' for the JLA. Following the decimation of Earth, the Justice League regroups to take on Darkseid and save the remaining survivors.

When the girl comes to the attention of Darkseid, the evil overlord of Apokolips, events take a decidedly dangerous turn. At the end, Trigon and Cyborg sacrifice themselves with Darkseid to save the earth!

Some characters like Superman and Constantine did things that didn't feel like them; and i think this similar global conflict theme was much better executed in Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox.Looking for something to watch?
Flash is going to fix everything again. A Sequel to Justice League Dark (2017) involving Jack Kirby's New Gods. Superman loses his powers, Lex Luthor is a wimp who wants to save his own skin, Flash is imprisoned to eternally run on a treadmill, powering an entire planet (what the heck was that about???) the action is almost non-stop. That's it! Time for Rebirth???? Superman's idea is really bad. There were hints of character development but it all fell short as it ends before anything could be interesting.
